Review Kiosk.ws Hosting
caymanhostAs our first review, we thought it only fair to take a closer look at our own hosting company, knowing first hand exactly how they perform on a day to day basis.
Kiosk.ws are based in Canada and are a subsidiary of Telco Advertising and are a solid proposition. No worries about them disappearing overnight and taking your website along with them! They own their own data center which may not mean much to some, but it is a significant factor in a host’s ability to respond quickly to technical and hardware issues.
Let’s say, straight off the bat that Kiosk.ws are not in the market of "cheap offer hosting" - they are all about excellent service - customer and technical support are first class and one of the company’s proudest boasts. If you are intending to rely on your website for any kind of business, this is something you will have cause to appreciate and be thankful for many times over. They also offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
Shared Hosting Packages
There are three shared hosting packages available from the company, designated Silver, Platinum and Titanium. The features of these are set out on the following pages of the company website
Titanium Shared Hosting - $44.95 monthly (first month $1 trial)
As you can see, they currently offer the first month under the Titanium package for $1 - this is a no contract, no strings offer. If at the end of your first month you are not happy with the service for any reason you can cancel your account and go elsewhere. If you are unsure about the meaning of the table above, we would suggest you visit the site and talk to the company with any questions you may have.
We mentioned the support situation earlier, and one of the best features is the fact that you can access their 24/7 support using the very latest in VOIP conferencing technology. In a nutshell, this means a simple installation of the VOIP software on your PC and you can visit the live support room anytime - discuss your issues in real time live video and audio. This is a wonderful and unusual offering from any host and it means zero cost for you, no matter where you are in the world. As an added bonus you get your own room too which you can use for whatever you want - the implications for business and personal use are tremendous and can mean great monetary savings in terms of meetings and call charges. Of course, there is still email and phone support too and help desk tickets are normally answered within an hour - yes, they are that good.
Dedicated Server Hosting
For some, shared hosting is not desirable and Kiosk offer some of the best dedicated solutions on the net. Need a custom built Linux server to your own exacting specifications? Not a problem - Kiosk will work with you to ensure you get exactly what you need.
If you are looking for reseller hosting, they can help you with that too.
In Conclusion
If our review has sounded more like an advertisement we make no apologies for it. In our time with Kiosk, we have never been more than 100% satisfied with their service and support, and the ease of use (C-Panel and Fantastico for managing everything) which genuinely is 24/7. The testimonials on the site speak volumes about the service and the sense of community fostered among fellow webmasters makes for an even better user experience.
Since re-launching their corporate website last month, visitors can now physically ’use’ all of the marketing aids and hosting features right from the site and see exactly what they will be getting with their hosting deal. I’m not certain that any other host offers such a candid look behind all the gilded promises and can highly recommend a tour of the Kiosk.ws web hosting demo page.
In a world where you still get what you pay for, we consider Kiosk.ws hosting excellent value for money and recommend them highly for both new and seasoned webmasters and also in particular to online marketers whose requirements will often not be met by web hosts for a variety of reasons, and Kiosk have specialized in assisting many top level marketers over the course of their existence.

It annoys me that big marketing names such as Mike filsaime reccomends hosting companies that he says are top notch, yet within the first month of me hosting a site with them had a downtime of over 6 hrs!? Surely, a top notch hosting company can rectify any problems they have and get them resolved within a few minutes, not hours??
Luckily i wasnt launching any products around that time, because if i was, good ol kiosk.ws would be paying out a fair old wack to compensate me....neVER listen to advice from someone who gets paid to recommend..internet marketers CAN NOT BE TRUSTED ONE BIT...
(URL Edited by Admin) Thanks for sharing your views Nathian. Six hours of downtime is frustrating for anyone we agree, but it is very unusual for the company who are genuinely very reliable, and we respectfully suggest that your situation was a rare exception. With no details of what caused the problem it is hard to say whether it should or could have been remedied faster than it was. There will always be instances of this sort, with all hosting companies, such is the nature of the technology, but we stand firmly by our review in this instance, accepting of course that there will always be occasions when problems arise. We have certainly never suffered such lengthy service outages, with the most being no more than a few minutes and even then very infrequently. (Marketer or no, MF speaks from the position of a customer himself and we think it is only fair to point that out in view of your criticism)
